Marking the beginning of the holiday season, Thanksgiving holiday brings us joy and togetherness. So, who better to thank first but the people who are the reason for our happiness?!

Every year we celebrate Thanksgiving holiday as a mark of celebrating the harvest. This tradition has been going on since years and will go on forever because it is just another way of showing kindness to the people behind our well- being. But, have we ever thought who is responsible for this harvest and people who are responsible for feeding us day on day.

Let’s give it a moment.

Whether as backyard farmers growing fresh produce or dairy or having big farms or just getting the best of food for us, they are a testimony to our good health.

So what is the least we can do for them this Thanksgiving? I guess we all know the answer. Thank them! Cook them the best meal, love them and if you are away from them, then tell them how much you miss them because Thanksgiving holiday is all about celebrating with family. Yes, they are the same family who brought us up, kindled these values in us and in different stages of life they have been with us and will always be.

A super- mom teaches us all the life lessons. She inspires us, and for them their children always come first. She herself is very organized and teaches us to be the same. But, most importantly she doesn’t see herself as a super- mom. She is there at every point in our lives, helping us by holding our hands, caressing us, feeding us to fill up our stomachs, helping us in our studies or craftwork and being for us in anyway possible.

When we were 1 year old they would have lost their sleep to take care of us,
When we entered teenage they would pick us up from school and make sure we eat right,
When we became adults they would have used all their savings for our graduation school …

More importantly, they have sacrificed their personal interest to make us lead a happy life.

And, if these are not enough, then atleast thank them because we are in this world because of them.

Sometimes we forget to thank people in our lives that have made our lives so wonderful and happy in so many ways. We forget to tell them how much we really do appreciate them for being an indispensable part of our lives. Even though it’s way too much to count, take this opportunity and thank your parents for everything that they have ever done. I am sure you will feel its worth!

And, what better time, than Thanksgiving Day to do all the honors.

Time for some Turkey!

Happy Thanksgiving to all you wonderful lads and amazing parents out there!
